The Poor People’s Campaign is taking their campaign directly to statehouses, where many of the policies that attack the poor are put into effect, and they have provided the following schedule.

SCHEDULE:

10:30 am, gather at The Topeka Independent Living Resource Center, 501 SW Jackson St, Topeka, KS 66603

10:45 am – 11:00 am, march 1/2 mile to the Capitol for the Assembly

Let’s take the mic from the extremists in the Kansas Legislature who are enacting policies that deny healthcare and living wages and impede voting rights.
