Advocating for Change All Summer Long!

Plan to make time to advocate while still relaxing during the summer. It’s a great time to reach out to state and federal elected officials and let them know thoughts about their voting records and our expectations. It’s a good time to “Thank or Spank!”Join us to hear local leaders share their thoughts about what we can do while Kansas and Missouri state legislatures are not in session…and while Congress is! Mid-terms aren’t far away, and Activate America is ready for your help with postcards and phone banks to swing districts.

Plus, GGS Advocacy committee member Dave Webster, who keeps a close eye on Missouri activities, will provide a brief training session on tools for advocating.
The Advocacy Action will be addressing postcards to Kansas voters; next month the action will be postcards to Missouri voters.
