October 26

Grandparents for Gun Safety Forum

7:00 pm — 9:00 pm

More details to come

For today’s young people, school lockdowns and active shooter drills are part of life. Seven million U.S. children live in a home with at least one unlocked, loaded firearm. Guns are the #1 means of death of children and teens in Missouri, Kansas and the U.S. Youth know this shouldn’t be normal — and they’re determined to change it.

Join us October 26 for a critical conversation about how the next generation is working to challenge gun culture, promote safety, and change the narrative around guns. GGS is excited to bring the Project Unloaded founder as keynote speaker to this year’s Forum. Click HERE.

Through creative, fact-based campaigns, Project Unloaded helps young people make informed decisions about the real risks and responsibilities around guns.

We’ll also hear from local youth sharing experiences, concerns and hopes for a safer future. Join us to learn how the next generations are using powerful voices and leading the way to a future where less gun violence is normal.
