Grandparents for Gun Safety Meeting

As GGS works to make our community safer, one GGS goal is to expand partnerships with other like-minded entities. GGS is now working in Wyandotte County by supporting its Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), particularly three of the five CHIP pillars of Health Care Access, Violence Prevention, and Behavioral Health. The panel of speakers from Wyandotte County will describe their work on these issues and tell us how and where GGS can support them.

Please join us to meet and hear from Wyandotte partners as we work together to Make Change Happen. Anyone is welcome to attend monthly GGS programs – membership is not required.

The Advocacy Action will be to bring nonperishable food and bottled water donations for the homeless population who are reached through another Wyandotte pillar: Safe and Affordable Housing. Donations will also be shared with an agency serving Kansas City, MO homeless.
