GGS is not alone in its multi-pronged efforts to help make Kansas City a safer place to live and work. Join us May 20 to learn more about our many partners in the metro area that share our commitment to reducing gun violence and promoting gun safety.

Maribeth Brenneman, GGS Board member and its community engagement chair, will share her experiences working with KC Common Good, a metro-wide umbrella organization with a variety of programs to reduce violence, provide inner city young people with summer internships, and help previously incarcerated people rejoin society.

We’ll also hear from representatives of KC Mothers in Charge, offering help to families affected by a homicide, and Lives on the Line, a nonprofit of Kansas and Missouri parents supporting gun reform. They’ll discuss their programs and participation with KC Common Good.
