Period Packing Project

Join NCJW On Tuesday September 24th from 7-8:00 in the main lobby of the J. We will pack sanitary products into small pouches and write postcards for advocacy. 

The Period Project works with 10 local Kansas City Schools ranging from Elementary to High School. Many girls who can’t afford period products don’t attend school when they have their period. This project supplies menstrual products to girls who can’t afford them and therefore helps to keep girls in school! 

We will have plenty of pads to stuff the pouches, but feel free to purchase and bring more sanitary pads to this event to add to the inventory. (They prefer pads over tampons).
