Advocacy Action 2.0: Getting Out the Vote!

Registering new voters, engaging past voters and delivering both groups to the polls are vital to winning elections.

On August 26, learn how to support gun sense candidates when local campaign experts share their experiences and suggest ways to help Get Out the Vote (GOTV).

Those campaign pros include Michaela Reynolds, previously a campaign manager for various Johnson County, KS, candidates; Maryam Abid of The Voter Network, and Kathy Wolfe Moore, former Kansas state representative from Wyandotte County.

Data show sending-personally addressed postcards is a highly successful tactic. Following the panel presentation and Q&A, attendees will move to tables and address 1,000 postcards to send to registered independent voters throughout the metro and nearby areas. The identified areas have close races where the voters can choose a candidate, who, if elected, will govern with gun safety in mind. Join us for this informative program to make all possible votes count!
